Competition Accessories, a direct seller of motorcycle parts and accessories, will invest $3.3 million to relocate its headquarters and distribution center to Rock Hill, South Carolina, according to state commerce officials. The company, currently located in Springfield, Ohio, plans to create 40 new jobs with the move, which is expected to take place sometime before the end of September. "We are pleased to locate our operations in upstate South Carolina," says Dan Conetta, Competition Accessories' general manager. "York County provides an excellent business environmet for our company to grow. The combination of a positive business climate, available labor force, and top-notch market access will allow us to grow and meet increasing demand from our customers." The company will begin hiring retail sales associates, warehouse operations staff, graphic designers, and customer service representatives immediately after Labor Day. No information was released regarding financial incentives.
