As part of the company's real estate modernization and consolidation efforts Raytheon Intelligence & Space opened a new manufacturing facility and announced plans to build a new factory in McKinney, Texas.

The already built 178,000-square-foot Advanced Integration and Manufacturing Center is expected to create 500 jobs with the new project expected to generate 700 jobs.

The company will now build a 400,000-square-foot factory, lab and office space at its McKinney campus to open by 2025. The larger, consolidated modern manufacturing operation will make it possible for RI&S to develop, build, test and deliver more advanced technology.

Much of the RI&S workforce will have the flexibility to continue working remotely, onsite or in a hybrid arrangement that fits their schedules and job responsibilities.
