VIRTEX, an electronics manufacturing service provider to military, aerospace, and medical customers, is adding a new product line to its manufacturing facility at Solutions Place in Waynesboro, Virginia. The project is expected to create up to 50 jobs in the Shenandoah Valley.

“This expansion requires many different skill sets to meet the company’s goals,” Walt Carter, General Manager at the Waynesboro location said. “New team members that have experience in IPC production soldering are in high demand, as well as electronics technicians. We look forward to continued growth in 2020 as well as into the future, consider joining our fast-paced exciting team.”

In 2004, the old GE facility was taken over by PPI-Time Zero, which is also an integrated electronic manufacturing services. In 2018, it was announced that PPI-Time Zero would merge with VIRTEX. The company currently occupies 90,000 square feet of space in a nearly 342,000 square foot facility.
