Full-service electrical contractor Serve Electric plans to move its current headquarters into a larger facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The $2.7 million project is expected to create 240 new jobs.

According to state officials, the company has been experiencing significant growth. The facility will provide additional warehousing space, accommodate new staff and house a training center. Serve Electric currently has roughly 150 employees in Michigan.

The project will result in a $350,000 Jobs Ready Michigan grant that will be used to provide training for 100 employees.

Serve Electric, headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is a full-service electrical contractor that builds control panels, installs and programs automation lines, and works on manufacturing equipment. The company serves customers in the automotive, material handling and food and beverage industries.
