CareCentrix Opens Hartford, Connecticut Headquarters With Plans To Hire Hundreds
01/11/2013
The company said its new location will accommodate CareCentrix's growing workforce, as demand for the company's services continues to increase. CareCentrix has more than tripled its employees in Hartford, from 65 in 2008 to 240 today.
"Our growth is a direct result of our company's commitment to support people by delivering high quality health care in the convenience of their homes," said Eric Reimer, chief executive officer, CareCentrix. "It has been exciting for us to play an increasingly significant role in supporting health care payers and providers in improving patient outcomes through the delivery of high quality, cost-effective home health care. We are proud that the growth of our services has enabled CareCentrix to contribute to growing jobs in Connecticut."
Last year Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy named CareCentrix to the state's First Five program, which recognizes and provides incentives to businesses that create a minimum of 200 new, full-time jobs in the state within five years. CareCentrix is investing millions of dollars in its new headquarters, which spans 30,000 square feet.
"I am pleased to officially welcome CareCentrix to the Capital City," said Governor Malloy. "Connecticut will fight to keep every job, and we are using new, innovative economic tools like the First Five program to attract companies that will create good jobs here in our state. Partnering with the business community and improving the economic climate is critical to strengthening our competitiveness."
