AMES Aircraft Repair Company to Create 259 Jobs in OH as Part of $15 Million Expansion

10/05/2011
Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services (AMES) has announced plans to expand its aircraft repair and refurbishing business in Wilmington, Ohio.

The company will invest $15 million to construct a 100,000-sq.-ft. hangar at the Wilmington Air Park and create 259 jobs in Clinton County.

"The sun is kind of peaking over the horizon," said Ohio Gov. John Kasich. "We lost 8,000 jobs down here, so we got 259. That's 259 better-off families because there was a group of people who invested."
