Creative Liquid Coatings Relocates To Johnson Building At Kendallville, Indiana’s East Industrial Park
11/21/2013
The firm is currently located at two facilities in Kendallville, the former Budd Building on East Marion Drive and one-time Tower Automotive building on South Progress Drive.
General manager Stephen Geist said expansion was inspired by an increase in business within the automotive industry. At the Johnson Controls location the company will utilize some equipment from the former tenant and add robotic painting machines, along with molding and painting application equipment.
As part of its expansion and a package of local tax incentives, the firm plans to add 60 employees to its 280 member workforce. According to the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, Kendallville City Council granted the company a local 3-year tax abatement for revitalizing a vacant industrial facility and a 5-year tax abatement on new equipment that meet certain thresholds.
