05/25/2011
Cadence, Inc. announces it will invest nearly $16 million to expand its Staunton, VA, operations, a move expected to create 65 new jobs over the next three years.

The company is a leading manufacturer of precision products for the medical device and life science markets.

The new expansion will allow Cadence to grow its markets and support production of significant new business, said CEO Peter Harris. "This also affirms our ongoing commitment to precision and repeatability in everything we do for our customers, shareholders, and employees."

The Virginia Governor's Opportunity Fund gave a $150,000 grant to the company to help support the project.
