Rust-Oleum Invests $1.3 Million In Expansion Of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin Facility

06/14/2013
Rust-Oleum will undertake a $1.3 million project to equip its Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin facility for expanded small batch spray paint production, resulting in the creation of 54 new jobs.

“I commend Rust-Oleum for its investment in its Pleasant Prairie operation to meet a growing demand,” said Gov. Scott Walker. “The company has also invested in worker training as part of its overall expansion of its workforce.” Rust-Oleum is eligible for up to $350,000 in tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

Rust-Oleum is adding an additional small batch aerosol assembly line to its existing facility. Much of the growth in the paint market is for more unusual colors that are produced in small batches, Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. said.
