03/07/2013
The company includes ancillary companies: Emergency Recovery, Healthcare Billing Solutions Group and Day 180 Auto Billing. Growth for the combined companies is projected to increase by more than 500% during 2013. The company currently has 15 on-site employees and expects to increase to more than 100 by the end of the year.
“One of the many reasons we selected the Research Park was because of its synergy with Florida Atlantic University,” said Bobbie Celler, Esq., founder of Electronic Payment Systems – Global. “Our interests strongly align with FAU’s Healthcare, Technology, Accounting and Business Management programs and we are eager to collaborate and share resources with both faculty and students.”
EPS – Global will offer paid co-op and internship opportunities to FAU undergraduate and graduate students to educate and groom for potential hire. The firm plans to work with FAU’s Master of Health Administration Program by offering students a hands-on learning experience.
“We are delighted to welcome Electronic Payment Systems – Global into the Research Park,” commented Andrew Duffell, President & CEO of the Research Park. “Managing and reigning in healthcare related costs is a national priority and it affects all of us. EPS – Global has developed extraordinary healthcare software that will greatly assist healthcare providers in capturing data, processing claims and expediting efficiencies for hospitals and related healthcare finance improvement processes.”
Established in 1985, the 94-acre The Research Park at Florida Atlantic University is home to 23 technology companies working in conjunction with the FAU College of Engineering and Computer Science, the FAU Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and the FAU College of Business.
