An online hosted engagement software company, MindMixer will establish its national headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. The company already operates a small local office in the city, but will invest more than $1.5 million to create new jobs in the information technology, software and programming field.

The firm will consolidate the company’s offices from Omaha, Nebraska, and Lincoln, Nebraska, into the Kansas City office at 1627 Main, in the Crossroads Art and Design District.

“We’re a proud Midwestern company but in order to sustain growth we needed to be in a location with a skilled workforce that meets the needs of our high-tech business,” said Nick Bowden, CEO/Co-founder of MindMixer. “That’s where Kansas City comes in. This community already has an abundance of experienced workers and the talent pool only seems to be getting bigger.”

To assist MindMixer with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria. The City of Kansas City, the Kansas City Area Development Council, and the Missouri Partnership also partnered with MindMixer to make its expansion possible.
