Integra Beauty plans to invest $4 million in a new distribution center in Groveport, Ohio.

The company represents beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands, and offers a range of services including product development, marketing, customer service and distribution services.

Based in Los Angeles with a distribution center in Chatsworth, California, Integra Beauty provides custom digital platforms and promotes products for various brands across online, mobile, social and retail markets.

The company will occupy 80,000-100,000 square feet of a 230,000-square-foot facility in Groveport to better serve its east coast customer base, streamline the returns process and provide future capacity for other brands the company serves, according to JobsOhio.

“As our company continues to expand its e-commerce services, we are taking strategic steps to provide the best customer service possible while maximizing the reach of our distribution capabilities,” said John Maurer, Vice President of Operations at Integra Beauty.

“The Columbus Region’s access to the U.S. market, along with its skilled workforce, makes this a smart move for us during our next chapter of growth. Integra is also appreciative of its positive experience with VanTrust Real Estate in the expansion of our brands on the East Coast and in the Midwest,” he added.

With only a distribution facility in California, Integra Beauty needed a new distribution center to better serve east coast customers, state officials said. Integra Beauty selected central Ohio for the new distribution facility, citing market access and skilled workforce as attractive strategic advantages.
