The Southwest Economic Forum
The large five state economic Southwest region of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico share many common business attraction factors, international trade advantages and distinct market sectors unlike most other regions in the US and many foreign economies.

These unique features are the key elements that will attract more prospects and consultants to the region as the US economy improves and will be the focus of The Southwest Economic Forum being held September 12-14, 2012 at The Overton Hotel on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Organized by The Consultants Forum and Area Development Magazine it brings together a distinguished lineup of speakers among site consultants, business research consultants and other industry leaders and corporate executives who will provide the most current insights into what investment will shape the regions economy over the next several years and how your location can compete effectively to win these projects.

The Southwest Economic Forum has been designed to help economic developers frame their marketing strategies to compete for a share of new investment expected to enter the region over the next two years.

Best Practices Program

The intense two day program of sessions, panel and round table discussion are designed to focus on the best growth sectors within the four state region and the new opportunities expected to add to its economy.
