RFP Academy | Workshop Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center Atlanta, Georgia April 9-10, 2018     About Area Development�s Consultants Forum group will hold the first of a new series of ACADEMY | WORKSHOP programs April 9-10, 2018 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta. This inaugural event will be an interactive one-and-a-half-day program centered on Writing the Effective RFP. The RFP ACADEMY | WORKSHOP will be led by six experienced site consultants who provide their viewpoint on what is required to create a well written, superior RFP. The program will provide a unique learning experience to improve your community�s RFP response, increase your location�s opportunity for consideration with site selectors and help avoid early elimination. An integral part of the program has each attendee submit a mock RFP response prior to the event. The mock RFPs will be used as part of Roundtable discussions and individually reviewed by a consultant on a "one-on-one" basis. Schedule Day 1 is a set of presentations focusing on what to include and what to avoid when producing a winning RFP. Sessions cover organizational skills, supplying essential data and demographic content, providing the right real estate information among other criteria. Day 2 is a two-part hands-on agenda with attendees selecting two site consultant led Roundtable discussions, including "one on one� reviews of submitted mock RFP responses. A $200 credit will be provided to each attending organization to be used towards a future 2018 Consultants Forum event.
