About
Smart economic development professionals are preparing their communities to attract advanced technology based industries. Advanced industries offer higher competitive wages, contribute positively to community prosperity and provide workers with a better variety of jobs that are supported by education, improve skills and better career placement opportunities.
New technologies such as advanced robotics, 3-D printing, digital simulation, UAS, adaptive manufacturing and scores of other technologies are creating challenging opportunities for communities. The advanced industries sector encompasses roughly 50 industries ranging from auto making and aerospace to energy extraction to high-tech services such as computer software and computer system design and into healthcare applications. These industries account for nearly half of all new manufacturing jobs in the United States since 2011.
The Forum will provide insight on how advanced technologies will create game changing trends impacting your existing manufacturing and employment base and will require new workforce development programs and community marketing to attract investment.
The Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Forum is geared for economic development organizations who want to see the future that exists today and how it will impact their communities tomorrow.

On Monday evening the Forum relaxes with a networking reception and allows attendees to explore Las Vegas with on the town dining.
