Enstar Group Limited Expands Richland County, South Carolina, Subsidiary

To expand its newly-acquired Richland County Operations – Sussex Insurance Company – Enstar US is relocating to a 36,000-square-foot facility, which is located at 221 Dawson Road. The new facility will allow Enstar US to retain all existing 120 positions at Sussex, while also adding more than 60 new jobs.
Enstar US is investing $500,000 in the Richland County operations, allowing the Sussex business to retain all existing 120 positions, as well as creating more than 60 new jobs over the next nine months.
As a market leader in completing legacy acquisitions, Enstar has acquired more than 65 companies and portfolios since its formation in 2001. Headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, the publicly traded company and its subsidiaries employ more than 1,300 workers around the world.
“The 60 new jobs and the investment Enstar is bringing to Richland County are a testament to our workforce, and we look forward to watching them succeed in South Carolina for many years to come,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
“Today, we celebrate Enstar’s decision to establish operations in Richland County. Bringing 60 new jobs to our state, this announcement is a terrific step forward for the company, its existing workforce and the local community,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt said.
