Highline Aftermarket Expands Memphis, Tennessee Operations

10/19/2017
A manufacturer and distributor of packaged automotive chemicals, lubricants, filters, parts, tools and accessories, Highline Aftermarket, will expand its operations and locate its headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. The company will invest $500,000 and create 91 new jobs in Shelby County.

Highline Aftermarket was formed through the simultaneous acquisitions of the two legacy businesses, DYK Automotive and Automotive Aftermarket Holdings Co. in April 2016.

“We are thrilled to relocate to the Memphis area. With the growth happening in the city, we are excited to be a part of the city’s current renaissance,” Highline Aftermarket President & CEO Darcy Curran said.

Highline currently occupies a 352,000 square-foot facility in Memphis. The company plans to add additional square footage to make room for new equipment and consolidate its operations to the facility with this expansion.

“I want to thank Highline Aftermarket for choosing to expand in Memphis,” Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe said. “It means a great deal that Highline will be adding over 90 new jobs in Shelby County. With this announcement, our fast-growing automotive sector will continue to excel and I appreciate Highline for its continued investment in Memphis and the State of Tennessee.”

“With more jobs and investment coming inside our city limits, our momentum continues to increase. I’m thrilled to see Highline Aftermarket do what so many others are doing these days, choosing Memphis,” Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said.
