Consolidated Catfish Expands Isola, Mississippi, Operations Facility
12/01/2015
The company owns and labels two brands: Country Select and Delta Pride. Consolidated Catfish is primarily owned by catfish farmers that produce 60-65% of the company’s live fish/raw material.
Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for infrastructure improvements. “Consolidated Catfish wishes to thank MDA for their assistance in bringing this project to fruition and for their continued commitment to the development of this area of our state,” said Consolidated Catfish President Richard Stevens. “Mississippi’s existing businesses, such as Consolidated Catfish, are major economic drivers for the state. When they choose to expand, it shows companies around the U.S. and the world that Mississippi provides companies with the competitive edge needed for growth and longevity,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
“MDA salutes the teamwork of our partners at the Belzoni Humphreys Development Foundation and the Humphreys County Board of Supervisors, which contributed to Consolidated Catfish’s expansion in Isola, creating new economic opportunities for Mississippians in the Delta region,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough. “MDA looks forward to many more years of success for the Consolidated Catfish team in Humphreys County.”
