YFS Pharma, Inc. Expands In Buffalo, New York Suburb

The project at YFS Pharma, Inc. involves the construction of a 9,467 square foot facility that will allow the company to manufacture products for commercial sale and clinical trials. This is in addition to 6,834 square feet of office space currently being leased in the same facility.
The company currently employs 14 full-time employees, and the expansion will create 28 new jobs. Empire State Development will assist the company with $500,000 in Excelsior Job Program tax credits as an incentive.
"Western New York is rapidly becoming a hub of high-tech manufacturing with businesses choosing to come here and grow and expand in this region," Governor Andrew Cuomo said. "With the addition of 28 new highly skilled jobs at YFS Pharma, we take another step forward to help grow the Buffalo area’s economy, allowing this region to continue to thrive for years to come."

CEO of You First Services Group of Companies John M. Barret said, "The company has successfully launched its flagship product, Lubricity® for moisturizing dry mouth, and will be introducing a second product, MetaQil™, for reducing metallic taste for oncology patients, as well as for patients taking a variety of medications, by the end of the first quarter of 2017. These products, as well as a number of additional products, having approved clinical trials at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Buffalo, Jacksonville University and the State University of New York, will be manufactured by YFS Pharma."
