Calumet Specialty Products Partners Invests $40 Million To Expand Its Louisiana, Missouri, Manufacturing Plant
06/26/2013
The firm’s Missouri facility primarily produces synthetic lubricants. Expansion plans include a 25,000 square-foot addition to the current facility, which will increase manufacturing capacity to meet growing product demand.
“Today’s announcement is just the latest victory in Missouri’s resurgent manufacturing industry,” Gov. Jay Nixon said. “With a highly-skilled workforce, competitive business climate and abundant resources, the Show-Me State is a natural choice for companies, like Calumet Specialty Products Partners, to invest and expand.”
The state of Missouri is helping make Calumet Specialty Products Partners’ expansion possible through a strategic package of economic incentives, which the company can redeem if it meets the strict job creation and investment criteria each program. The company plans to hire 21 additional employees, the Governor’s Office said.
