Credit counseling company Greenpath Inc. has been given approval by the city of Farmington Hills, Michigan, to build a 100,000-square-foot headquarters facility near the Farmington Hills Corporate Campus.
Greenpath, a nonprofit organization, added employees in 2009 and 2008 in response to growing demand for credit counseling services. The firm is currently housed in two other Farmington Hills buildings and has been considering a move for more than a year.
The land is part of the 134-acre Farmington Hills Corporate campus, which opened in 2002 and consists of five other buildings. Allstate Insurance Co., Alcoa Inc., and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services currently occupy space at the corporate park.
