06/20/2014
At the completion of the expansion expected for the end of the year, the company's 42,000-square-foot Center of Excellence, located at 8440 Dorchester Road in North Charleston, will employ more than 700 people.
The company partners with global brands to deliver aftermarket product and customer support solutions that span the consumer value chain, from customer care and receivables management to product diagnostics and repair services.
"North Charleston has consistently been a highly successful operation for many years, and so it was an easy decision to expand our presence and create jobs in this market. We have every confidence that the highly-skilled Low Country area labor market can provide the talented individuals required to handle the complex transactions inherent to the servicing of our top-of-industry clients,” said Mason Argiropoulos, Chief HR Officer at iQor.
"Congratulations to iQor on their more than $390,000 investment and creation of over 320 jobs in Dorchester County. Their continued confidence in our highly skilled workforce is another indication that we are on the right track and we appreciate their contribution to our strong business community and to Team South Carolina over the years,” said Governor Nikki Haley. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $50,000 set aside grant for real property improvements related to the project.
