“Direct Pack is excited to partner with the State of North Carolina and Richmond County,” said Craig Snedden, Direct Pack’s president. “We feel Rockingham is ideally situated to service both our existing East Coast customer partners and our plans for future domestic expansion. We would like to thank the Richmond County Board of Commissioners and their team for helping us partner with the City of Rockingham and the State of North Carolina.”
“Job creation is still all about the fundamentals, and our county’s fundamentals are strong,” said Kenneth Robinette, chairman of the Richmond County Board of Commissioners. “They include affordable costs, available sites and buildings, and close proximity to major consumer markets.”
“We’re having a solid year,” said Richmond County Commissioner Jimmy Capps. “The success we’re seeing in our job growth efforts is the result of a strong spirit of collaboration that exists in Richmond County -- from the terrific customer service companies get from our economic development program to the excellent workforce training they receive from Richmond Community College.”
