myNEXUS Expands Operations In Nashville, Tennessee, Suburb
12/19/2016
“Tennessee’s strength in health care is a magnet for new startups like myNEXUS. But more importantly, our state has the workforce and business climate to allow these companies to grow and excel,” Governor Bill Haslam said. “We appreciate myNEXUS for choosing to expand in Williamson County. The creation of 260 new jobs by myNEXUS brings us closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”
“The Nashville region is a hub for healthcare companies and in Middle Tennessee the healthcare industry supports more than 250,000 jobs and generates nearly $39 billion in economic activity,” Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “As the healthcare industry evolves, innovation from companies such as myNEXUS will be important for the continued growth of this vital sector for Tennessee’s economy. On behalf of Team Tennessee, I’d like to thank myNEXUS for its commitment to bring hundreds of new jobs to Greater Middle Tennessee.”
“Providing individuals with more opportunities for home-based care is a rapidly growing segment of the health care system and is key in building healthier communities,” myNEXUS CEO McArthur VanOsdale said. “Being a native Nashvillian, I am passionate about being a part of Nashville’s continued economic development, and myNEXUS is excited about being a contributor toward bringing career opportunities to the Greater Middle Tennessee area.”
As part of the expansion, myNEXUS will hire additional staff for the company’s corporate office, including IT support, clinical operations and quality control. The majority of hires will be administrative support staff that will manage service delivery to members across the country.
“We are thrilled to see myNEXUS adding to its already strong presence in Williamson County,” Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson said. “MyNEXUS is a strong corporate partner who consistently gives back to the community, and we look forward to watching the company’s continued growth.”
“MyNEXUS is part of the healthcare industry as well as a strong entrepreneurial technology company,” Williamson, Inc. CEO Elizabeth McCreary said. “Both industries continue to grow and thrive in the diverse Williamson County economy. The fact that our wonderful existing businesses, such as myNEXUS, choose to stay and grow here is the reason why Williamson County has been the fastest growing large county for jobs in the country for the past three quarters.”
