Gigya Expands Corporate Offices To Phoenix, Arizona, Creating 200 Jobs In Region
The firm offers a Connected Consumer Management Suite that enables more than 700 of the world’s largest brands to understand and connect more closely with today’s mobile and socially connected consumers.
“We are thrilled to announce the official opening of our office here today,” said Patrick Salyer, CEO of Gigya. “We have already hired some of the smart and innovative people in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and we will be hiring many more to help us continue our rapid expansion as we build a large, sustained presence in Phoenix.
Gigya recently raised $25 million to keep up with its increasing customer demand, prompting rapid expansion, Gov. Jan Brewer’s Office said. The company will build its presence overseas, bolstering its office in London and also plans to expand domestically. Because of Arizona’s concentration of highly skilled talent and expanding clusters of technology innovation, the Arizona office will serve as a critical component of Gigya’s domestic corporate growth.
The company selected Arizona after a multi-state competitive process. It credits Arizona for its competitive business costs, strong portfolio of successful technology companies and highly skilled, available tech talent, Brewer said.
“Gigya’s decision to bring its business to Phoenix is great news for our technology industry, including the hundreds of Arizona workers the expansion will employ,” said Gov. Jan Brewer. “That this rapidly-growing California company chose Arizona to locate its newest office is no coincidence. It’s validation of the free-market principles, competitive and predictable tax policies and skilled workforce we have worked hard to put into place these past four years.”
“Arizona’s proximity to California represents tremendous opportunity for California-based companies like Gigya looking to expand, and we thank them for their decision to expand to our great state and for their commitment to Arizona,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO, Arizona Commerce Authority. “We are uniquely situated to access some of the world’s top economies, with a competitive cost of doing business, highly skilled talent pool and proven success in the technology industry. We’re confident Gigya will continue to grow and excel right here in Arizona – alongside other leading names in the high-tech industry.”
