Creative Liquid Coatings Expands Montpelier, Ohio, Operations

12/23/2024
Creative Liquid Coatings, an injection molding, painting and assembler of plastic components for the transportation industry, plans to expand its operations in Montpelier, Ohio. The $9 million project is expected to create 50 jobs.

The investment at the company’s existing facility will include an additional 94,000 square feet featuring new injection molding machinery and automated assembly equipment.

“We have multiple customers in Ohio and Michigan, so this location was very strategic for us. Our customers continuously work to reduce their inbound logistics costs, so keeping production near their locations is critical,” said Stephen Geist, President, Creative Liquid Coatings.

To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Creative Liquid Coatings’ expansion reflects the competitive advantage Ohio provides transportation manufacturing suppliers as they look to succeed with proven talent near their customers,” noted JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “The company’s investment at its Montpelier facility will improve efficiencies and add 50 new jobs as demand continues to grow for Creative Liquid Coatings’ injection molding, painting and assembly expertise.”

Creative Liquid Coatings serves the automotive, heavy truck and marine industries. The company currently operates eight U.S. facilities.

"We’re excited that Creative Liquid Coatings has chosen Montpelier for their expansion. This investment reinforces Williams County's position as a prime location for growth in the manufacturing sectors. The success of this project highlights the power of our partnerships and we’re proud to support Creative Liquid Coatings in their continued growth and contribution to our local economy,” added Ashley Epling, Executive Director, Williams County Economic Development Corporation.
