Miller’s Minuteman Press Expands Its Owings Mills, Maryland, Headquarters-Operations Center
04/23/2014
Located at 11195 Dolfield Boulevard, the single-story, build-to-suit project will be constructed on approximately 7.5 acres within Merritt’s Owings Mills business park. “Expanding our facility is an exciting opportunity for Miller’s Minuteman Press. It highlights our exponential growth and differentiates our business model and extensive capabilities. We look forward to further strengthening our ties within the Baltimore community,” said Miller’s Minuteman Press President/CEO Keith Miller.
Miller’s Minuteman Press, a graphic design, print and mailing company, is one of the largest Minuteman Press franchises worldwide. The new building will allow Miller’s Minuteman Press to add new equipment, additional employees and service offerings. The lot and building will be owned by Miller. With this expansion, they expect to increase their workforce by 30 percent initially, and double it by the end of their second year in the new facility.
Merritt Properties’ construction division, Merritt Construction Services, is preparing to begin construction this spring, with an anticipated completion date in early fall. The new office headquarters and production facility will support the franchise’s four storefronts located in Pikesville, Hunt Valley, Towson and Westminster, as well as their outside sales force servicing the greater Baltimore metro area.
The new building is part of Merritt’s Owings Mills development located along Red Run and Dolfield boulevards in Owings Mills. The business park currently includes eight buildings totaling more than 600,000 square feet of office and flex space.
“The new headquarters for Miller's Minuteman Press brings new jobs and new investment to the Owings Mills business community,” said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz. “We’re pleased to see that this growth by a locally owned business in a successful business park is being developed by another locally owned company.”
