06/19/2013
“We are excited to take this step and set up our new North American operations in Spartanburg County. Our location in South Carolina not only provides us with a great business environment, but gives us close proximity to our customers. We appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials,” said Peter Steiner, director and owner of Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH.
“South Carolina continues to attract investments from companies from around the globe. We celebrate Lindoerfer + Steiner’s decision to invest and create 32 new jobs in Spartanburg. More and more companies are seeing South Carolina as the right place to do business,” said Gov. Nikki Haley.
“Today’s announcement by Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH brings another automotive supplier to our state and further strengthens South Carolina’s manufacturing base. We continue to see the benefits of BMW’s investment two decades later with job-creating investments like this one,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
“The Economic Futures Group is pleased to welcome Lindoerfer + Steiner’s custom packaging and U.S. headquarters operation to the Spartanburg community. Lindoerfer + Steiner represent yet another example of international investment in our community. Spartanburg County has always maintained a strong relationship with Western Europe and we continue expanding on this relationship,” said Economic Futures Group Board Chairman Russ Weber.
“Companies such as Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH are helping us prove to the world that the Upstate of South Carolina is a competitive global manufacturing center for businesses of all sizes. We are excited to welcome them as our newest business neighbors,” said Hal Johnson, president and CEO of the Upstate SC Alliance.
