Continental Structural Plastics Creating 350 Jobs in Huntington, Indiana
08/11/2010
Continental will occupy a 220,000-square-foot facility that formerly housed the company Meridian, which closed two years ago and laid off 186 workers.
"The investment and job creation with the CSP project represents a fantastic opportunity for Huntington," said Mark Wickersham, Huntington County United Economic Development Corporation executive director.
Continental produces composite parts for heavy trucks and the construction, heating and cooling, solar power, water management, and building materials industries.
The company's first phase of the project is scheduled to be operational by September, and the second phase will be ready by the end of the year.
