Haverfield Aviation To Relocate At Smith Field Airport In Fort Wayne, Indiana
10/21/2013
Sean Connolly, general manager of Haverfield's North Central Region said, "It is exciting to be a part of the continued growth of our company as we build a regional office in this great community."
The Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance said it is expected the aviation firm’s Fort Wayne regional operations center is likely to attract specially trained and skilled workers to Northeast Indiana. Haverfield is currently looking for experienced MD500 helicopter pilots and mechanics, as well as electric transmission line workers to support the growing demand for its services. Future growth will also require additional support staff working at the Fort Wayne office.
"We are excited to have Haverfield join us at SMD and be bringing new opportunities," stated Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority. "Haverfield will be able to draw upon the talented students from the Ivy Tech Aviation Center also located at SMD."
