A company that provides human resource, payroll, tax and benefits administration solutions to approximately 600,000 clients worldwide, ADP, will make a $22 million investment to expanding its operations center in El Paso, Texas, creating 585 jobs.
"The City of El Paso and the State of Texas are excellent locations to do business," Terry McGreehan, ADP El Paso Solutions Center Vice President and General Manager said. "ADP continues to provide leading-edge Human Capital Management services for all our clients and we're delighted that our El Paso Solutions Center will serve as a model for recruiting and employing skilled workers to support those efforts. As an incentive, Gov. Rick Perry’s Office said Texas is providing $2.4 million from the Texas Enterprise Fund to finalize this expansion and job creation. "Texas is a beacon of economic freedom and opportunity, which is why employers looking to expand or relocate continue to choose the Lone Star State," Gov. Perry said. "Companies like ADP know that our strong commitment to low taxes, reasonable regulations, fair courts and a skilled workforce make Texas the best place to live, work, raise a family and have a business."
"The partnership between ADP and El Paso has greatly benefitted both the company and our community," El Paso Mayor John Cook said. "We are thrilled that this outstanding corporate citizen has decided to deepen their roots here by this significant commitment of new high paying jobs and capital investment."
