This product line extension compliments the company's already strong wetback and dryback Firetube, Biomass, and Hybrid boiler manufacturing capabilities.
In addition, the new Hurst Performance Series Watertube boiler offering is being expanded to meet virtually all commercial and industrial applications ranging from 17,250 to 103,500 lbs./hr (500 to 3000 H.P.).
“For years, we’ve been asked by customers impressed with the reliability, efficiency and longevity of our Firetube/Hybrid and Biomass boilers to pursue the manufacturing of Watertube boilers as well. We feel the timing is right to enter the market with a more comprehensive strategy. This allows us to build on the success of our Performance Series of Firetube boilers, along with our comprehensive line of Biomass and Hybrid boilers to now have a complete and deeper product offering including a full line of watertube solutions,” stated Tommy Hurst, President, & CEO.
“Before embarking on this decision, we took a strong look at the state of the boiler business. We’ve done extensive work on developing smart processes with technology and manufacturing advances, coupled with equipment and factory investments, to arrive at a cost position that works for our company and our customers. We plan to become a force to be reckoned within the watertube space as well,” Hurst explained.
