Located at 865 Victor Hill Road in Spartanburg, the company will be constructing a new 24,000-square-foot facility, with the ability for future expansion of up to 100,000 square feet. The facility is expected to be operational by the end of April 2017. Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2017.
“We are very excited to expand our operations to South Carolina. There is a lot of business potential within South Carolina’s automotive cluster, as well as other opportunities in neighboring states,” said International Mold Corporation Treasurer Michael Lilla.
“The business-friendly environment we’ve worked hard to create in South Carolina is paying off for the people of our state, and this announcement by International Mold Corporation is further proof of that. This $6.2 million investment and the 60 new jobs it means for Spartanburg County are huge reasons to celebrate across South Carolina,” Governor Nikki Haley said.
“Spartanburg County enthusiastically welcomes the addition of International Mold Corporation to our vibrant manufacturing community. International Mold Corporation’s decision to locate their facility in Spartanburg County demonstrates our community’s ability to attract quality companies providing excellent job opportunities for the citizens of Spartanburg,” David Britt, chairman of Spartanburg County Council’s Economic Development Committee and board member of the Economic Futures Group said.
