MPW Industrial Services Plans $4.4 Million Expansion In Union Township, Ohio
07/31/2014
The firm’s expansion will be a new, 40,000-square-foot, building on its existing campus at 9711 Lancaster Road SE in Union Township. MPW’s $4.4 million investment will go toward new construction costs, infrastructure investments, machinery and equipment, and furniture and fixtures. MPW currently employs more than 300 employees in the Columbus Region alone.
“Central Ohio has been MPW’s home from the very start, so it’s only fitting that we choose to invest and expand in the Columbus Region,” said Monte Black, Founder/CEO, MPW Industrial Services. “The company’s continued growth has spurred a need for a larger facility and more engineering and IT expertise, and there is no better spot to expand and find that niche workforce than here.
“We are proud to see MPW continuing to grow and expand in Central Ohio, bringing with it more high- quality engineering and IT jobs,” said Dan Evers, Director of Economic Development, GROW Licking County Community Improvement Corporation. “The company’s investment is a win for Licking County and the entire Columbus Region.”
