08/10/2015
Currently, Textura occupies 23,400 square feet in One Prudential Plaza, with the recently renovated office housing around 70 employees. According to company officials, the company plans to hire more than 50 new positions in the Chicago office this year and make it a central hub for recruiting efforts going forward.
“The City of Chicago is a vibrant and growing business center with a tremendous technology talent pool and an impressive track record of innovation,” said Dave Habiger, CEO of Textura. “The downtown Chicago operation will help ensure that we continue to attract the kind of talent we need to support our product evolution and high level of growth,” he said. “In addition, our new Chicago office puts us even closer to some of the top construction companies in the world.”
“Textura’s decision to grow in Chicago and make the City central to its recruiting efforts is a testament to the depth of talent in our city’s workforce,” said Mayor Rahm Emanuel. “As more cranes rise and more buildings break ground, Textura will be able to access more of our leading construction companies, leverage our talent, and further support Chicago’s economic growth.”
