ContactUS Invests $4 million In Second Facility In Columbus, Ohio Region
01/29/2014
“ContactUS has seen a rapid and sustained increase in its client base, prompting the need to expand to a second location and boost our workforce significantly in the next few years,” said Trevor Friesen, President, ContactUS. “Being headquartered in the Columbus Region, we’re pleased to be able to stay local for the company’s next chapter of growth.”
The investment is contingent upon state approvals to be finalized February 24. The new facility will complement ContactUS’ existing location at 1108 City Park Avenue, in the city’s German Village neighborhood. This latest investment is in addition to the company’s 2012 commitment of 150 new jobs, for which hiring is underway and is nearing completion.
“We are ecstatic that ContactUS is investing in a new facility and additional employees, even beyond its original commitment,” said Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman. “This effort will bring a significant number of high-quality jobs to Columbus and continue to reinforce our role as a hub for technology.”
