Accretive Health Creating 650 Jobs in Chicago

Accretive Health, a healthcare financial services firm, is creating 650 jobs in Chicago. The company already employs 175 people at its headquarters in the city.

"Accretive is revolutionizing patient access and revenue cycle processes for healthcare providers, and growing at a rapid pace. Opening this new processing center will help us to meet client demand," said Accretive Founder and CEO Mary Tolan. "Chicago provides a strong, competitive platform for building our skilled work force. The city truly provides a world-class, supportive business environment."

The facility will house a new B2B center. Accretive plans to add the jobs over 10 years. It considered other locations outside Illinois, but decided on Chicago partly due to its competitive work force.
