FlexITy Solutions Expands Into Western Canada, Opening Winnipeg Office Center
12/10/2013
"Recent strategic wins in the west have reinforced our decision to add more facilities, people and network resources to manage our growth," said Peter Stavropoulos, CEO and President, FlexITy.
The firm said it will also be hiring a team of seasoned experts to deliver the innovation and deep technical skills that has fueled FlexITy's rapid growth. The network expansion will include a new western POP, or point of presence, featuring a state-of-the-art environment.
"Western Canadian organizations are unique in that they need to provide high quality enterprise applications across urban centers, rugged geographies and remote offices," added Stavropoulos. "Too often they face challenges that include affordability, reliability and availability not experienced by businesses in other parts of the world. For western-based enterprises relying on the operational efficiencies promised by global trends such as Unified Communications and Collaboration, there have been few options. Unless you are architecting and supporting solutions specifically designed for western Canada you just don't get how difficult it can be."
