Troy Wood Specialties Plans To Expand Its Dell Rapids, South Dakota, Manufacturing Facility
03/14/2014
The firm was recently approved for a South Dakota Development Corporation MicroLOAN. “The MicroLOAN program is ideal for small businesses because of its low interest rate,” said Pat Costello, Commissioner of the South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development. “More and more companies like Troy’s Wood Specialties are learning that there are a variety of beneficial financing programs tailored for small businesses. I encourage any company looking to expand to contact GOED to see what financing program may be available.”
Andrea Scherff, Co-owner of the company, says the company has been looking to expand its capabilities for several years and after researching the various loan programs out there, she found the GOED to have the best options.
“Looking at everything the GOED has to offer, the one thing that stood out to me was the consistent interest rates,” Scherff said. “Most of the programs offer very reasonable interest rates, and that is important for small businesses like ours. Everyone we worked with was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful.”
