Catipult.AI Expands Indianapolis, Indiana, Operations
01/29/2021
The company, located at 55 Monument Circle, is investing more than $2.6 million to expand its team and operations in order to support its increasing client base. To support its growth, Catipult.AI plans to secure a larger Indianapolis office space and is exploring location options.
"Indianapolis is the perfect place to grow a tech business," said Peter Fuller, president of Catipult.AI. "There is a growing technology hub here, and we are excited to be a part of that growth."
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Catipult Inc. dba Catipult.AI up to $950,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired. The city of Indianapolis supports the project in partnership with Develop Indy.
“Central Indiana’s tech community is thriving with an impressive number of tech companies, like Catipult.AI, choosing our state for growth," said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. "Indianapolis is growing its reputation as a tech hub, and our state's quality of life, low cost of living and business-friendly environment make it the ideal location for companies like Catipult.AI to grow their teams."
Founded in 2019 by Fuller, Catipult.AI rolled out its software in March 2020. In addition to its software and strategic planning, the company also offers personal leadership services and currently has four certified John Maxwell Leadership coaches with expertise in assessments, team building, talent optimization and the company's Adaptive Leadership Coaching methodology. Catipult.AI secured an $80,000 pre-seed investment from the Elevate Nexus Pitch Competition in December 2020.
“We welcome the expansion of Catipult.AI, one of many growing businesses in Indianapolis’s burgeoning tech sector,” said Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. “Our city continues to add good-paying jobs thanks to our high quality of life and welcoming business environment.”
