New Austin, TX, Software Center Is Expected to Create 239 Jobs Over 10 Years

City officials said the projected net economic benefit to Austin should be about $1.4 million over a decade. The company expects to create 50 jobs by year-end 2011; 59 in 2012, 50 in 2013, 50 in 2014, and 30 in 2015.
The Advisory Board has 91 employees in Austin and 1,500 worldwide. It serves over 2,700 hospitals, health systems, universities and other enterprises by providing research, executive education, leadership development and other services.
The firm's Austin-based division-Crimson-was purchased three years ago. That operation offers data, analytics and business intelligence software to hospitals, health systems and physician clinics.
On top of the City grant, The Advisory Board is asking for incentive monies from the Texas Enterprise Fund.
