Daisy Brand Plans Boone, Iowa, Production Operations
04/22/2024
The new 750,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will allow the company to meet increased consumer demand.
“At its core, economic development is about partnerships between communities, companies and the state to ensure future growth,” said Debi Durham, director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa Finance Authority. “This significant investment is a testament to those partnerships, one that will pay off for Boone and Iowa.”
To support the project the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) board approved $7 million in direct financial assistance as well as tax benefits.
“This truly was a regional effort to attract a national brand to central Iowa,” noted Dan Culhane, President & CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission. “Our community partners in Boone worked tirelessly to make this project a reality for not only the benefit of Boone, but our entire region.”
Daisy Brand currently operates manufacturing facilities in Garland, Texas, Casa Grande, Arizona, and Wooster, Ohio.
