Switzerland-Based Givaudan Plans West Harrison, Indiana, Liquids Production Operations

Switzerland-based flavors fragrances and ingredients manufacturer Givaudan plans to establish operations in West Harrison, Indiana. The $215 million project is expected to create more than 250 jobs in Dearborn County.

The investment will include the construction of a more than 78,000-square-foot liquids production facility. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028.

“This new facility represents our continued investment and long-term confidence in our North American operations,” said Givaudan President, North America, Taste & Wellbeing Mindy Kucks. “It demonstrates the importance of the market to Givaudan and to the food and beverage industry, while keeping our growth rooted in the Greater Cincinnati regional economy. It will continue to strengthen our market and operational presence and advance the sustainable, innovative solutions that consumers love.”

Givaudan is a manufacturer of flavors, fragrances, beauty ingredients, and food and beverage solutions for consumer products companies.
