Grow Therapy Expands New York City Operations

Mental health care platform Grow Therapy plans to expand its operations in New York City. The approximately $24.9 million project is expected to create 123 jobs.

The company’s new 78,00-square-foot-office at 145 Delancey Street will support technology and artificial intelligence tools designed to assist clinicians and improve the delivery of mental health care.

“When I joined Grow this year, the momentum was already underway. Sustaining it is our top priority, and New York is our center of gravity: what we build in this city reaches everyone we serve in all 50 states,” said Grow Therapy Chief Financial Officer Seth Bressack. “The talent is here, the clients are here, and now more of the jobs will be too. And as a long-time Lower East Side resident myself, I’m incredibly proud to see Grow set down roots here. We’re grateful to Governor Hochul and Empire State Development for their partnership.”

To support the project, Empire State Development (ESD) is providing up to $1.4 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits.

“Under Governor Hochul’s leadership, New York continues to create the conditions for innovative companies like Grow Therapy to expand, invest and create jobs here,” noted ESD President, CEO and Commissioner Hope Knight. “Grow’s latest expansion will deepen the company’s roots in New York City while supporting new technology that can help improve access to high-quality mental health care.”

Grow Therapy operates a mental health care platform connecting patients with providers offering in-person and online therapy and psychiatric services.
