ITT Goulds Pumps Plans Memphis, Tennessee, Manufacturing-Distribution Operations

10/22/2026
Industrial pump manufacturer ITT Goulds Pumps plans to establish operations in Memphis, Tennessee. The $31 million project is expected to create 57 jobs in Shelby County.

The investment will include the construction of a new manufacturing and distribution facility at 5633 Mineral Wells Road.

“Our expansion in Memphis reflects the continued growth of ITT Goulds Pumps and our long-term commitment to this community. This investment strengthens our operational capabilities, expands our capacity to support future growth, and enhances our ability to serve customers across North America. We are proud to invest in Memphis, create new job opportunities and contribute to the local economy as we continue to grow our business,” said ITT Goulds Pumps President Hamdy Salem.

ITT Goulds Pumps, a business of ITT Inc., is a manufacturer of industrial pumps and fluid-handling equipment for the chemical processing, oil and gas, mining, power generation, and other industrial markets.

“With access to rail, interstate highways, air and waterways, Memphis is the perfect spot for ITT Goulds Pumps’ new manufacturing and distribution center. Furthermore, I’m proud to see a nearly 180-year-old company choose to call Tennessee home, proving that our efforts to make Tennessee the best place to bring your business continue to be successful,” noted Tennessee Deputy Governor and Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.

“We are excited to welcome Goulds Pumps to Shelby County. Working in partnership with Memphis Light Gas and Water, the Greater Memphis Chamber, EDGE and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development furthers our shared commitment to supporting job creation and investment in the region. ITT Goulds Pumps’ establishment here represents investment and the creation of job opportunities for the communities we serve. TVA is proud to support companies that contribute to the prosperity and vibrancy of our region, and we celebrate this announcement together,” added TVA Vice President of Economic Development Heidi Smith.

“Economic development is strengthened when companies choose to invest in our community. ITT Goulds Pumps’ expansion into Memphis represents exactly the kind of growth we want to see across Shelby County: new capital investment, quality jobs, confidence in our workforce and our ability to support industry. EDGE is proud to work alongside TNECD, the City of Memphis, Shelby County and our economic development partners to help create the conditions for companies to grow, invest and succeed here,” said EDGE President and CEO Dr. Joann Massey.
