Fraley and Schilling Expands Knoxville, Tennessee, Operations Hub
11/18/2020
According to state officials, due to growing demand in transportation and logistics, Fraley and Schilling is expanding by adding a new terminal building, which is currently under construction. The new building will be the largest in the company at approximately 11,600 square feet.
“We have been privileged to be a member of the Knoxville community since 2010. Our Knoxville office has been the fastest growing in the company, and this additional space will enable us to further invest in the future of many families in the Knoxville area,” Chris Seals, president, Fraley and Schilling said.
“We are grateful that Fraley and Schilling has made the decision to expand its operations in Knoxville. Tennessee’s central location and business-friendly environment has made the Volunteer State a destination for transportation and logistics companies. We thank Fraley and Schilling for creating even more jobs for Tennesseans in this growing sector,” said Governor Bill Lee.
Today, Fraley and Schilling employs 250 people in Tennessee, more than 700 in the U.S., and operates over 500 trucks across the eastern half of the U.S., state officials noted.
“We are grateful that Fraley and Schilling chose to expand its operations in Knox County. Tennessee is well-positioned to support the growing demands of the transportation and logistics industry, and our state is ideal for this expansion not only geographically, but also from a business standpoint,” added Bob Rolfe, Commissioner of TNECD.
