EquipmentShare Establishes Moberly, Missouri, Operations
11/29/2023
The new 174,000-square-foot industrial and upfitting center will feature industrial and technology operations including telematics installations, equipment refurbishment, and the manufacturing of attachments for equipment.
“With these new operations, we are truly maximizing the longevity of equipment in every way, changing the construction game,” said Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder of EquipmentShare. “Our technology is able to monitor machine health and maintain equipment at peak performance – and our specialized technicians and mechanics can refurbish dated equipment, ensuring those machines return to job sites faster.”
EquipmentShare will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
“EquipmentShare’s ongoing growth is an incredible Missouri success story that we’re proud to support,” noted Michelle Hataway, Acting Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This innovative company’s new facility in Moberly, now its seventh statewide, is creating even more opportunities for Missourians to prosper. We’re grateful for all our partners who supported this project as EquipmentShare continues to thrive right here in Missouri.”
EquipmentShare develops technology that helps contractors build smarter. The company offers a comprehensive suite of solutions that includes a fleet management platform and telematics devices.
“On behalf of the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) Board of Directors, I would like to welcome EquipmentShare to Moberly,” added Chuck McKeown, Moberly Area Economic Development Council Board Chair. “Their presence in Moberly will strengthen our area and we are proud to have them call Moberly home for this significant investment in our economy.”
