Idaho Milk Products Opens Jerome, Idaho, Technical Center

Idaho Milk Products, the country’s largest dedicated supplier of milk proteins, opened a new Technical Center in Jerome, Idaho. The new facility houses research and development labs, quality assurance labs, and marketing and sales offices.

“With the opening of the Idaho Milk Product’s Technical Center, our business has reached an important milestone at the five-year mark. The Technical Center represents the growth of our business and also our dedication to supply our customers with the freshest, highest functioning dairy ingredients,” said Kent Giddings, Idaho Milk Products General Manager. “We now have space to grow marketing, sales and customer service, increase quality assurance capability and also expand our research and product development efforts.”

Idaho Milk Products has seen growth every year and currently employs 118 people, which is a 34%increase since opening its doors in 2009.

According to Jan Rogers, Executive Director of Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization, “Idaho Milk Products’ growth in both dairy and research and development is a testament to our region’s strong dairy industry and skilled local workforce.”
