Hilco Industrial Offers Electrode Plant In Detroit, Michigan

03/19/2019
Hilco Industrial, in partnership with The Branford Group, announced the turnkey offering of one of the largest electrode plants in North America, 20 miles from Detroit, Michigan.

According to company officials, this Michigan-based manufacturing facility has a production capacity of 4,000,000 battery cells per year. The assets include complete anode and cathode processing lines, including material mixing, coating, drying, roll slitting, packaging and solvent recovery systems.

The plant facility also features a stainless-steel tank farm, a large quantity of spare parts, air handling and tool room equipment, and much more. This is a unique opportunity for a buyer to immediately purchase and begin operating a lithium-ion battery manufacturing operation, Hilco officials said.

Hilco Industrial provides industrial asset disposition services, specializing in machinery, equipment and inventory auctions, and negotiated sales. It sells the broad range of industrial assets found in manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution companies.

Hilco Industrial performs dispositions through on-site, online, and combination webcast auction sale events as well as negotiated (private treaty) sales. In addition to providing services on a fee or commission basis, Hilco Industrial has capital to put at risk and often acquires assets or provides guarantees. The Branford Group is a global industrial auction and valuation business with proficiency across a wide array of industries.
