Pet Food Experts Plans New Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Production Facility

A distributor of pet food and supplies to independent retailers, the company will construct a facility in East Cocalico Township, about 18 miles away from its current operations. The company is expected to retain 60 existing employees.
“Pet Food Experts will double its workforce in Lancaster County once their expansion is complete,” Gov. Tom Corbett said. “We will continue seeking opportunities to partner with companies like Pet Food Experts to create family sustaining jobs throughout Pennsylvania.”
The company’s project was made possible by a low-interest loan approved by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority. The Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority will provide a $2,000,000, 15-year, low-interest loan at 2.5 percent to the York County Economic Development Corporation on behalf of Pet Food Experts, Inc.
